1. look for

change that. change the
http://www.url_to_site.com/playlist.xml to one of the
links below, or if you look further down my page. you can
learn how to make your own playlist of music.
2. if you want to use one of the pre-made
playlists below than re-place the
http://www.thefilehut.com/userfiles/YOUR_USERNAME/player.swf with http://pre-made-playlists.tripod.com/player.swf
3.copy each link and paste it in your adress
bar, and look at the list of songs on it. Pick the playlist
that you like the best! remember if u dont like the starting
song you can always change it!
when you have one of the links below into the
adress bar, to find what songs they are look at the

4. look for
style="filter:xray" keep it at that if u want it to be
black and white. but if you want it to be white and blue then
change it to this style="filter:NONE"
5. look for firstTrack=1 that means
it'll start on the 1st track. if u want it not to start until
you click on a song then put it like this firstTrack=0
and if u want it to start on a different track then change the
firstTrack=to whutever track number you
want!

Getting Your Own Music
On Ur Music Player
( You Have To Be Somewhat Exprianced With Html
To Do This!
)
1.
ok 1st you need to know what music you want on there.
2. after you've figured that out, then if
you dont already have that music on your computer. then you
should download LimeWire.
( a music downloading software )
3. then
search for the music you want
4. download
it
5. then upload it. i would suggest to
upload it to Tripod. they
only give you 20 megs, but if you need more space you can
always make another acount : ).
6. when you
sign up after you've entered all ur info it should say
"What do you want to do?". well you should pick the
bubble "Build a web site with Tripod SiteBuilder. after
that, then choose "Start An Express Template". then it
shows you a list of things.. like "About Me". it doesnt
matter what you pick.
7. then just keep
chooseing next till you get to " Your web site is ready!
Preview your web site, publish it, or continue editing.".
you need to click the one that sais "Edit Site".
8. then scroll all the way to the bottom,
and there should be a gray box that sais"Click Here To Add
Site Add-On"
9. after you've clicked
that, then click "Multimedia", then click "Add Sound
To Your Site"
10. and then WALLA you
click on Add-Sound and upload! also remember to rename the
music files to. example. "my_pianio_lesson01" that way it
would make it so that they wont delete it.
11. because they might delete it if they
find out its not ur own music. so if you rename it they wont
bother to listen to it, neither the less delete
it.
12. ok. now were at the playlist
editing, choose any one of the playlist links that i have
provided, copy and paste it into your adress bar. and then you
should be there.
13. right click the page..
any where on the page, and there should be an option of "View
Source".
14. then it should open a new
window ( notepad ), it should have blocky lookin letters 'n
all. look for where it sais song
path="http://www.blablabla.mp3" ok delete the
http://www.blablabla.mp3 and replace it with the song
url that ends in .mp3 that you want.
15.
now look for title="Name - Of The Song" and replace it
with the name of the song that your putting in there
16. ok now going bac to step 9.. to get the
url from tripod. after you've uploaded the music, right click
on "Listen" and click "Properties".

then look where it sais "Address (URL)" then you see a
Http://link.. copy that whole link and paste it under the
song path="http://UrlOfSong.mp3" dont forget the "
thats on either side of your URL
go
there to get the sample.xml playlist and .swf file (music
player)
19. ok now you need to save the mp3
player.
20. go to www.thefilehut.com
and register an acount. remember to put your
real e-mail adress they send no spam. and they need to comfirm
that its a real e-mail adress so they can cantact you.
21. then after you've comfirmed your e-mail
adress upload your "player.swf" and your
"whutevernameyouchoose.xml"(after you've made the changes to
the playlist) then it should take you to the list of files
that you;ve uploaded. and you should see the file names
22. right click each one and choose
properties.. and get the url the same you got it from the
"blablabla.mp3" songs.
23. ok then you
should be done. if u have any questions please message
